Most of the program involved traveling (on your own
and with the program) and classroom lessons.
- Please describe the range of activities available,
in addition to yours:
There is another program through the same organization
for observant orthodox Jews.
- Would you recommend this institution to other Penn
medical students? Why?
Yes, the program was a great chance to see the whole
county, meet other American medical students who just finished
their first year, and get a sense of the Israeli health
system.
- What did you not like?
The classes could have explored bioethics in more depth.

Email NEIJS for an application. I applied past the deadline
and I was still accepted.

Scholarships are available directly from the NEIJS.

from the organization
