Penn Medicine's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides a comprehensive suite of services designed to support the well-being of your employees and their families, while providing valuable resources for your organization. We partner with you to foster a healthier, more productive workplace.

  • Confidential Short-Term Counseling

    We provide employees and their eligible family members with a set number of prepaid counseling sessions. These sessions are conducted by independently licensed professionals, either in-person or virtually, to address a wide range of personal and professional challenges.
  • 24/7 Crisis Support 

    Immediate, around-the-clock telephone access to clinicians is available 365 days a year for emergency counseling and crisis intervention, ensuring your employees have support whenever they need it.
  • Work/Life Balance Resources

    Employees gain access to our online portal, MyLifeExpert, which offers a wealth of articles, tools, and resources on topics including family care, financial wellness, legal matters, health, and career development.
  • Management & Organizational Support

    We partner with your leadership team by providing management consultations and structured solutions for employee performance issues.
  • Critical Incident Response 

    We provide a comprehensive range of critical incident services to support your team during a crisis.
  • Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Services 

    We provide access to DOT-qualified Substance Abuse Professionals who evaluate employees under DOT regulations and recommend education, treatment, and follow-up testing to ensure compliance.
  • Workplace Training & Workshops 

    Our experts deliver a wide array of training sessions, available in-person or virtually, on topics designed to improve employees' personal and professional lives, enhancing skills and overall well-being.
  • Program Promotion & Engagement 

    We help maximize program awareness and utilization through new employee orientations, custom promotional materials (brochures, newsletters), and active participation in your organization's health and benefit fairs.
  • Utilization Reporting

    Organizations receive quarterly and annual reports with de-identified, aggregated data. These reports allow you to understand the impact of EAP and identify workforce trends while ensuring employee confidentiality.
