Description of Clinical Expertise

Dr. Ojerholm is an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania and a staff physician at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. He practices general radiation oncology, with a particular focus on cancers of the head/neck, lung, and prostate. He is the Residency Program Director for Penn radiation oncology.

Dr. Ojerholm graduated as valedictorian from Duke University's School of Engineering (2004-2008). He earned a medical degree with Alpha Omega Alpha honors at the University of Pennsylvania (2008-2012) and then completed an internal medicine internship (2012-2013) and radiation oncology residency (2013-2017) at Penn. He is board-certified in radiation oncology (2018).

Dr. Ojerholm was twice named "Educator of the Year" by the Penn radiation oncology trainees (2019, 2023) and also won the department's Giulio D'Angio teaching award (2020). He was selected as a "Mentor of Excellence" by the American College of Radiation Oncology (2020).
