The Department of Cancer Biology is a Basic Science research department. The faculty and their labs undertake various types of research projects related to gaining a better understanding of the precise nature of how cancer occurs, how it spreads, how it can be killed and how it recurs, all seeking to find new ways to prevent and treat cancers in the future.
