Silverbush Lab

Research

At the Silverbush Lab, we integrate single-cell genomics, AI-driven computational modeling, and translational biology to uncover how brain tumors and their immune microenvironments evolve under therapeutic pressure. Our goal is to understand mechanisms of resistance to immunotherapy and to design next-generation, combinatorial treatment strategies that can be translated into clinical practice.

  1. Multi-omic single-cell and spatial profiling to map tumor and immune cell dynamics in response to CAR T cell and other immunotherapies, revealing mechanisms of response and resistance.
  2. AI- and machine-learning–based modeling to integrate genomic, epigenomic, and transcriptomic data, enabling predictive models of tumor-immune interactions and therapeutic response.
  3. Rational design of next-generation and combinatorial therapies, using insights from single-cell and computational analyses to guide preclinical modeling and inform early-phase clinical trials.
