Description of Clinical Expertise

Food allergy, eosinophilic esophagitis, obesity-associated asthma.

Description of Research Expertise

The Hill Lab investigates how diet and metabolism impact immune health and contribute to inflammatory diseases. Our research focuses on key areas such as food allergies, obesity-associated asthma, and immunometabolism. By integrating clinical epidemiology with mechanistic studies in animal models and patient samples, we aim to uncover the underlying mechanisms that drive immune responses. Our goal is to translate these findings into innovative preventative, diagnostic, and therapeutic strategies to improve human health and combat disease.

Description of ITMAT Expertise

I am an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania and an Attending Pediatric Allergist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. My lab investigates how diet and metabolism impact immune health and contribute to inflammatory diseases.
