Scientific Discovery Scratching Beneath the Surface of Itchiness

A collaborative study led by De’Broski R. Herbert of the School of Veterinary Medicine and postdoctoral researcher Juan Inclan-Rico has revealed how a specific species of mammal-targeting worms found a way around itch, allowing researchers to better understand the mammalian urge to scratch.
