Molecular Integration in Neurological Diagnosis Initiative

PD GENEration: Mapping the Future of Parkinson’s Disease

PD GENEration: Mapping the Future of Parkinson’s Disease, is a first-of-its-kind national initiative that offers free genetic testing for clinically relevant Parkinson's-related genes and free genetic counseling to help participants better understand their results.

The study is supported by the Parkinson Foundation. Thomas Tropea is the Site Investigator at the University of Pennsylvania and Neda Almassi is the Site Coordinator. Participants at the University of Pennsylvania will be able to discuss their genetic results with Penn’s certified genetic counselor, Rachel Paul.

This study is open to any participant who has a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. Please contact Neda Almassi, at neda.almassi@pennmedicine.upenn.edu or at 215-829-7289, if you are interested in learning about how to participate.
