Monitoring
During the course of the trial, as a site, you will have regular monitoring visits from your assigned monitor and, potentially, unplanned monitoring visits.
If you are the sponsor of the study, oversight of the ongoing monitoring is also your responsibility. This involves reviewing and acknowledging the monitoring reports and discussing ongoing issues with the monitor and site as necessary. For systemic issues a corrective and preventive action plan may need to be put in place with the site.
