Penn Medicine O365 is the cloud-based email and calendaring service deployed to every UPHS and PSOM faculty and staff member. The subscription-based service includes a number of additional benefits: the full suite of Office 365 ProPlus applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access) as well as Microsoft Teams.

PennO365 is the University’s cloud-based email and calendaring service available to every School and Center on an opt-in basis. The subscription-based service includes a number of additional benefits: the full suite of Office 365 ProPlus applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access) that can be installed on up to five personal computers and devices, (as well as used online via web-based applications) and OneDrive for Business (Microsoft’s cloud data storage and collaboration solution that provides each participant with 1TB).

How to Access

Penn+Box is a cloud-based collaboration service for securely managing and sharing files and folders within the Penn community and externally. Users can access, create, manage, and distribute content across various device types and operating systems. Penn+Box also ensures that University data and intellectual property are securely protected.

Used by/Available to

To provision a Penn+Box account, you must have a PennKey and at least one of the following affiliations in PennCommunity: Student (STU), Staff (STAF), Faculty (FAC), Temporary (TEMP), Contingent worker (CTWK), Emeritus Retired Faculty/Staff (ERF), Service Provider Active (SERV), Corporate on HUP Payroll (HCOR).

Login to Penn+Box

 

Zoom is a video conferencing solution that is available to all PSOM faculty, staff and students. Zoom has the ability to conduct meetings up to 300 participants and to leverage features such as breakout rooms.  Zoom is also integrated with Canvas and Panopto to support the education mission

PSOM faculty, staff and students.

Capacity Assumptions/Restrictions

Zoom can be used for administrative, education and research meetings. Zoom cannot be used for telehealth sessions. Zoom Cloud Recording cannot be used to record meetings where PHI will be discussed.

Continuity and Security

Can be used to host meetings where Sensitive, Restricted and Public data are discussed.

Cost

Free for a licensed user account. Add-on services are available through ISC.
