Update - Microsoft Outlook and Email Protection Changes
Through the month of June, Penn Medicine Information Services has been converting to a new anti-spam filtering service. As the new filtering system learns about your email, some messages may be inaccurately identified as spam and quarantined by the system, in particular, time sensitive messages from nih.gov email addresses, funding agencies, and Workday. Releasing these emails helps to train the system to handle them appropriately going forward.
Please check the junk and quarantine email periodically to confirm you are not missing any important messages.
Where will Junk and Quarantined messages get delivered?
- From Outlook, review your Junk Mail folder often, looking for spam messages you may consider legitimate that were incorrectly classified as junk.
- Sign into https://security.microsoft.com/quarantine to access your email Quarantine.

If you continue to experience issues with email incorrectly being quarantined, please submit a Helpdesk ticket or contact your LSP.
