Ishana Baboo
Temporary Worker
Ishana Baboo is an undergraduate student at Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, PA. She is a Biology major and Chemistry minor pursuing a pre-med track, and participates in several extracurriculars on and off-campus. She joined Dr. Weissman's laboratory in the summer of 2022 under the supervision of Dr. Elena Atochina-Vasserman, and primarily assists her with the development of an mRNA vaccine for norovirus.
Borja Ceballos-Llera
Undergraduate Volunteer
Borja Ceballos-Llera is a fourth-year undergraduate at Princeton University studying Molecular Biology. He joined Dr. Weissman’s lab as a research volunteer in February 2024, under the mentorship of Dr. Lopez-Mercado, working in the development of vaccines against flaviviruses and therapeutics against herpesviruses. In the future, he aspires to build a career in the RNA therapeutics field.
Nathanael Moore
Temporary Worker
Nathanael Moore is an undergraduate student at The College of New Jersey looking towards a Ph.D. in Microbiology/Toxicology. Nate joined the Weissman lab in July 2024 under the supervision of Dr. Elena Atochina-Vasserman working to produce mRNA for a variety of studies, including the Norovirus Vaccine.
Dan Shinn

Dan Shinn is a rising Junior studying Computer Science and Computer Engineering at University of Pennsylvania. He is fascinated by research in computational biology and immune engineering and plays competitive chess in his free time.
Sepideh Toshtzar

Sepideh Toshtzar is an undergraduate student ad Drexel University studying Biological Sciences with a minor in Public Health on the pre-med track. She joined the Weissman Lab under Dr. Elena Atochina-Vasserman in April 2024 as part of the Drexel co-op program and primarily produces mRNA for a variety of studies, including the Norovirus Vaccine.
Jessica Vasserman
Undergraduate, Student Co-op Worker
Jess Vasserman is an undergraduate student at Drexel University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Japanese. After graduating, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Vaccinology. Jess joined Dr. Weissman's lab in April 2023 through Drexel's co-op program and is currently learning how to produce and work with nucleotide-modified mRNA.
Blair Williams

Blair is an incoming freshman at University of Pennsylvania, where she plans to pursue a pre-med and public health track. She joined the Weissman Lab in the summer of 2023, working under Dr. Elena Atochina-Vasserman and primarily produces mRNA for the norovirus vaccine.
