Ishana Baboo

Undergraduate Student
Ishana Baboo is a undergraduate student at Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, PA. She is a Biology major and Chemistry minor pursuing a pre-med track, and participates in several extracurriculars on and off-campus. She joined Dr. Weissman's laboratory in the summer of 2022 under the supervision of Dr. Elena Atochina-Vasserman, and primarily assists her with the development of an mRNA vaccine for norovirus.
Blake Lippman

Undergraduate Student
Blake Lippman is a rising third-year undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania studying Neurobiology and International Relations, pursuing a Pre-Med track. Blake joined Dr. Weissman’s lab during his freshman year under the guidance of Dr. Xiomara Lopez. Long term, he aspires to work on research that advances therapeutic development for rare disease in an industry or clinical research atmosphere.
Jessica Vasserman

Undergraduate Student
Jess Vasserman is an undergraduate student at Drexel University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Japanese. After graduating, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Vaccinology. Jess joined Dr. Weissman's lab in April 2023 through Drexel's co-op program and is currently learning how to produce and work with nucleotide-modified mRNA.
Blair Williams
High School Student
Blair Williams is a rising senior at the Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr, PA. In university she plans to pursue a pre-med and public health track. She works under Dr. Elena Atochina-Vasserman and primarily produces mRNA for the norovirus vaccine.
