Hall Mercer Crisis Response Center at Pennsylvania Hospital

Open 24 hours a day, the Hall Mercer Crisis Response Center provides a safe, caring setting for people who have serious behavioral health problems such as bipolar disorder, major depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia or substance abuse.

The Hall Mercer Crisis Response Center is also appropriate for people with psychiatric problems who may be overwhelmed by homelessness, unemployment, legal or financial problems, or those experiencing the emotional consequences of physical illnesses such as HIV or AIDS.

Staff members work closely with patients to determine the nature and cause of their mental health problems, to provide immediate care and to make arrangements for inpatient or outpatient services. The Hall Mercer Crisis Response Center offers a full line of treatment options which are provided at Hall-Mercer or at one of many other agencies with whom Hall-Mercer has a relationship.
