Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology (2026–2027 Academic Year)

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine is seeking candidates for postdoctoral fellowship positions beginning Fall 2026. The Department is a leading academic medical center housing multiple general and specialty clinics that provide evidence-based mental health services to a diverse patient population.
Depending on placement, postdoctoral fellows will join multidisciplinary teams of psychologists, psychiatrists, licensed clinical social workers, and psychiatric nurse practitioners for a one- to two-year, full-time clinical training fellowship designed to prepare them for independent clinical practice in academic medical or specialty care settings.
Supervision
All postdoctoral fellows receive at least two hours of individual supervision per week, fulfilling licensure requirements for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Eligibility
Applicants must have completed:
- An APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology
- An APA-accredited predoctoral internship
- Candidates should demonstrate strong qualifications in clinical training, academic performance, and professional conduct.
