Description
Clinical postdoctoral fellows in this track receive comprehensive training, education, and supervised clinical experience in the assessment and delivery of exposure therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (E-CBT) for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and anxiety disorders.
Fellows work closely with Dr. Jeremy Tyler to provide consultation, diagnostic evaluation, and psychotherapy for adults with OCD, PTSD, and related anxiety disorders in the Outpatient Psychiatry Center (OPC), a large, general outpatient practice serving a diverse patient population across the Philadelphia community, including individuals with CBH (Medicaid) and Penn employee insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver approximately 28 hours per week of direct clinical care (assessment and psychotherapy)
  • Participate in weekly individual and group supervision
  • Engage in didactics, seminars, and case conferences
  • Complete clinical documentation and administrative responsibilities
  • Attend departmental didactics and grand rounds
  • On a case-by-case basis, may provide tiered supervision to trainees under appropriate supervision
