Britton Chance Symposium Travel Stipend (students and junior investigators)
We will provide travel stipends and poster awards for selected abstracts. Travel stipends will cover up to ~80% of the total cost for attending the conference, including a 4-night stay in campus housing. After the Symposium, we will also organize 2 peer-reviewed journal issues on metabolic imaging/spectroscopy to which you may contribute manuscripts: Journal of Biomedical Optics (confirmed) and  Academic Radiology (confirmed). The publication dates for articles in these special issues are expected to be in early 2025.

Award applications can be submitted during the abstract submission process. To apply, please provide one to two recommendation letters, a resume, and a cover letter that includes a commitment statement about presenting at the Britton Chance Symposium and, if you plan to submit a manuscript to Britton Chance special issues after the symposium. Please note, our travel stipends are partially tied to manuscript submission. If you do not submit a manuscript to one of the journal issues, then the maximum level of financial support will be 50% of cost.

** Junior investigators are defined as postdoctoral fellows, research associates, instructors, and junior faculty without independent funding sources.

Britton Chance Symposium Poster Awards (cash prizes $100-$250)
Poster Awards will be awarded to selected posters. All posters are eligible for the prize (application not needed).
