All applicants must complete an ACGME-accredited residency in general psychiatry prior to entering our program.

Eligibility:

All applicants must have satisfactorily completed an ACGME-accredited residency in general psychiatry to be eligible to apply to our program.

All applicants must be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at the time they enter the program.

With the application, please attach the following information:

  • A completed application form
  • A recent photograph, (black and white passport size is acceptable)
  • A copy of your Curriculum Vitae
  • A personal statement explaining your interest in geriatric psychiatry, summarizing your career objectives, and indicating how a fellowship will help you achieve those objectives (one page)
  • Three current Letters of Recommendation
  • Summative Evaluation from your Residency Training Director
  • Dean’s Letter & Medical School Transcripts
  • USMLE Scores (Steps 1, 2, & 3)

We begin accepting applications February of the previous academic year.

  • Earliest date to submit your application - 02/02/2024
  • Deadline to submit your application - 12/16/2024
  • Interviews to take place from 03/02/2024 - 10/31/2025

If you are an International medical graduate, we accept the J1 and H1B Visas and you will need your ECFMG Certification.
