To Purchase Cell Products

• Visit the Path BioResource (PBR) portal at pathbio.med.upenn.edu/pbr/portal/ and click on the guide to requesting services link.  All clients, internal and external, will require a PennKey to purchase HIC cell products. 
• The PBR guide to requesting services at pathbio.med.upenn.edu/pbr/portal/request_howto.php tells how to obtain a PennKey if you need one, and how to create a project and manage users so that you can order cell products. 
• Download a copy of our Cell Products Ordering Guide for an explanation of how to use our online ordering system. 
• Log in to order cells (PennKey login required).
• Contact Cell Products (cells@pennmedicine.upenn.edu) with ordering questions - please note, we do not coordinate this service by phone.  Contact PBRHELPDESK@pennmedicine.upenn.edu with billing questions. 

All Other Services

• Neither a HIC account nor a PennKey is required for consultations or quotations. Browse this website for the names of HIC staff members to contact regarding specimen processing and banking, cellular/molecular assays, BCR/TCR sequencing and immune repertoire analyses, or scientific consultations and grant proposal support.
• Once you determine to do a project with the HIC, your HIC project manager will let you know next steps for project and billing setup based on the nature of your project and Principal Investigator affiliation. 
• Please note that we are transitioning to iLab for sample submission and project billing.  Click here for iLab login, support resources, and support contacts. 
• Contact the PBR Help Desk with any billing questions.

Billing for Cell Products is based on prices shown on this web site and date cells were provided. Contact the Path BioResource Help Desk with billing questions.

Billing for all other HIC services (such as assay performance, sample banking or shipping, receptor sequencing, etc.) is based on HIC-client communication involving the initial project quotation, project complexity, and adjusted quotation(s) if needed (for example, the client provides more or fewer samples than initially projected).  Contact your HIC project manager and/or the Path BioResource Help Desk with billing questions.
