After Nobel Prize, Penn’s mRNA Research Revving Up

In the year since Nobel Prize recognition, the lab of one of the winners, Drew Weissman, MD, PhD, of Infectious Diseases, has tripled in size. The many continuing mRNA research successes at Penn demonstrate how rapidly the field of medicine is changing as a result of the once longshot efforts.
