Could New Tech Prevent Aerial Virus Transmission?

Right now, bird flu doesn’t spread from person to person through the air, but Scott Hensley, PhD, of Microbiology, explained to CBS Evening News that just a few small mutations could change that, with the potential to greatly impact humans. In face of that scenario, a new technology called Far-UVC may be able to use lights to damage disease-causing microbes and limit the transmission of airborne viruses.
