David Fajgenbaum Will Receive the John Scott Award

David Fajgenbaum, MD, MBA, will receive the John Scott Award, one of the oldest science honors in the nation, presented by the American Philosophical Society. Fajgenbaum, an associate professor of Translational Medicine and Human Genetics, survived multiple life-threatening episodes of Castleman disease by identifying a drug already on the market that could help treat his disease.
