Heritage Lecture Awardee
The Heritage lecture is given annually by an outstanding scientist who trained in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology (as a student or postdoc) and who has moved on to a highly successful career elsewhere. The intention of this lectureship is to give the current generation of Microbiology and Immunology trainees (and faculty) an opportunity to meet and interact with former trainees who have carved successful career paths and to allow the invitees a chance to reconnect with the department. This years' awardee is Joe Zackular, PhD.
