Prestigious honor

Six Penn faculty members have been elected to the National Academy of Medicine. They are (left to right, top to bottom) Zoltan Pierre Arany, Kathryn H. Bowles, Scott D. Halpern, Eugenia South, Alexis A. Thompson, and E. John Wherry. They are among 100 new Academy members recognized this year for major contributions to the advancement of the medical sciences, health care, and public health.
