Systems Immunology and Genomics

Over the last decade, technological advances increased the rate of data acquisition with the widespread use of deep-sequencing methods measuring various aspects of the genome, the advent of highly multiplexed flow cytometry, and our ability to perform almost all these experiments at the single-cell level. Rather than exploring one element in depth, investigators employ these latter technologies to broadly probe the state of biological systems. The Systems Immunology and Genomics Interest area is intended to promote cross-disciplinary exchange between experimental, computational and mathematical biologists studying the organization, functions and regulation of the immune system at various scales.
