Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics Seminar Series

Launched in September of 2005, the ITMAT monthly seminar series enters its eleventh year. Outstanding role models who pursue translational research, from outside of the Penn community, are invited to lecture in this series, which is being coordinated by Charles Abrams, MD.

Speakers who represent excellence in translational medicine and therapeutics are asked to spend a day as an ITMAT Visiting Professor. In addition to their scientific presentation, they are scheduled to meet with faculty and have an informal session with trainees focused on career development.
