This research is being done to determine how variations in your genes may explain the different risk to develop scleroderma seen in African American patients compare to other populations.

NO. You do not have to take a medication for the study.

We will be studying how variations in your genes may explain the different risk to develop scleroderma seen in African American patients compare to other populations.

Patients must have a confirmed diagnosis of systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) and are African American.

The study is a one-time sample collection.

To participate in GRASP, you will need to complete a one-time blood draw.
