iLabs
All RMPC users must have an iLabs account, as all core services are billed through iLabs: http://medupenn.corefacilities.org/service_center/show_external/5249
Please follow the steps below to set up and use iLabs.
- Register for an account
- Internal (UPenn) users: https://www.med.upenn.edu/cores/registering-for-an-ilab-account-penn-faculty-and-staff.pdf
- External (non-UPenn) users: https://help.ilab.agilent.com/99540-getting-started-with-ilab/325013-registering-with-ilab
- Which institution or core facility would you like to use? Rodent Metabolic Phenotyping Core (University of Pennsylvania)
- Agree to the iLabs quote
- Once your iLabs account is set up, email Corey Holman at holmanc@pennmedicine.upenn.edu, and we will generate an iLabs quote for your study
- When you receive an email with this iLabs quote, you must click Agree to the proposed study in iLabs
- Add funding information to iLabs
- Internal (UPenn) users: You must request CAMS access from your Business Administrator in order to use grants to pay for services. Note: after CAMS access is granted, there is a 24 hour delay until the grant shows up in your iLabs account. Instructions on this process can be found here: https://www.med.upenn.edu/apps/cams/documentation
- External (non-UPenn) users: Once you receive a quote, you need to generate a PO for the full amount to pay for core services and add to iLabs. Instructions on this process can be found here: https://www.med.upenn.edu/cores/using-purchase-orders-in-ilab.pdf
- Receive an invoice
- Once the study is completed, the RMPC will mark the study as complete in iLabs and you will receive an invoice
