Due to the recent COVID-19 resurgence and supply-chain shortfalls, we are reinstating order limits as follows:

Ordering
The Alcohol Service Center supplies 190- and 200-proof ethyl alcohol in single containers and cases.
- Research alcohol must be ordered online. Click the "Order" button in the box, above
- Alcohol orders are approved by 3 PM Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Orders are not approved on days that the Alcohol Service Center is open
- Do not order quantities of alcohol greater than your approved storage capacity

Pickup
The Alcohol Service Center does not deliver. Alcohol can be picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2 – 4 PM at the Distribution Services window on the first floor of BRB II/III or the concourse level of SCTR.
- Orders must be picked up by a lab member
- A printed copy of the confirmation email must be presented to pick up the order
- The confirmation email is sent to the requester after the quantity and budget code are approved
- The subject of the final approval email will be “Alcohol Order Is Ready for Pickup”
- The Alcohol Service Center cannot lend out carts for transport; please plan accordingly
Container Disposal
- Alcohol containers must be triple rinsed and the labels defaced
- Glass bottles/containers should be placed in the lab glassware buckets
- Other containers can go in the trash
