Student Accommodations for Disability

The Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM) follows the University of Pennsylvania’s Guidelines for Addressing Academic Issues of Students with Disabilities.

Students at PSOM must meet the technical standards of the MD program. See Technical Standards.

Process

A student in need of accommodations must contact the Student Disabilities Services (SDS) through the Weingarten Learning Center. After a formal evaluation through SDS, reasonable accommodations will be determined. SDS will confer with the Office of Student Affairs, as appropriate. 

If a student has received accommodations through SDS, SDS will inform the Director of the Office for Students Affairs.
