The Committee works with leaders within the Clinical Practices of the University of Pennsylvania (CPUP) to define and encourage uptake of the elements of an anti-racist culture and implementation of specific anti-racist practices

  • Defining the mission, focus, and investment of the Clinical Practices of the University of Pennsylvania (CPUP)
  • Relationship of anti-racist activity with the promotion of health equity
  • Promote partnerships with communities


The Committee drives broad educational efforts to increase knowledge and commitment to anti-racist work

Personal Accountability / Growth

The Committee will define the steps in one's personal journey to becoming more aware of bias, promoting greater empathy, and understanding one’s own role in creating an anti-racist culture and workplace.

  • This area will overlap with educational opportunities and will be laser focused on individual growth and commitment
  • We will collect personal pledges from across the community
