Penn Athletics are offering the first 300 health system employees 50% off their monthly membership. There are two fitness locations to take advantage of this offer; 3701 Walnut Street and 219 S. 33rd Street.

Penn Medicine Employees Eligible to Receive 50% Discounts for Penn Racquet Sport Memberships at the Penn Tennis Center and Penn Squash Center

Penn Medicine employees are entitled to receive 50% off Penn Racquet Sport memberships from January 2023 through June 2023. (*applicable for new Penn Racquet Sport memberships only).

Membership to the Penn Tennis Center includes access to the twelve Hamlin Tennis Center outdoor courts and the six to eight Hecht Tennis Center indoor courts. The cost of membership for Penn Medicine employees will be $34 per year. Penn Tennis Center memberships are valid for one year upon purchase through the promotional period ending June 30, 2023. Membership is required to book court time and receive preferred pricing on programming and lessons. Court fees are per hour and in addition to the annual membership fee, charged at the Faculty/Staff rate. A variety of programming for adults and juniors are also available.

Membership to the Penn Squash Center includes access to a state-of-the-art facility with ten recently renovated, air conditioned squash courts. The cost of membership for Penn Medicine employees for an “unlimited membership” is $35 per month. “Unlimited membership” includes unlimited court reservations during non-peak and peak court time hours throughout the week without paying any additional court fees. The maximum amount of time a member is permitted to reserve in one day is 90 minutes. Membership is required to book court time and receive preferred pricing on private lessons, clinics, and programming.

Penn Medicine employees are NOT required to have or obtain a PennCard through the University to be a Penn Racquet Sport member, however they will need to call the front desk or stop by the Penn Tennis Center or Penn Squash Center to verify their university affiliation by showing their UPHS ID at time of membership purchase.
