Avery Ducey, MA

Avery Ducey grew up in the outer coastal plains of New Jersey and earned his Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Massachusets at Amherst and his Masters in Psychology at Rutgers University–Camden. Avery is a practicum clinician at the Penn Adult ADHD Treatment and Research Program, conducting evaluations for adult ADHD as well as providing individual cognitive behavioral therapy for patients in our practice. He is currently a 3rd-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), writing his dissertation on co-occuring mental health issues in individuals with ADHD and sluggish cognitive tempo (SCT). Avery's research interests additionally include impulsivity in ADHD, treatment efficacy, and neuropsychology.
