Junior Faculty Award
(Previously known as Young Investigator Spotlight)The Junior Faculty Award (JFA) is an opportunity for principal investigators who have had an independent position for 3-7 years*. We encourage all to apply, but we will prioritize applications with a track record of senior-author publications to present a 25-minute spotlight talk during APAN. You may also email their details to apanchair@apanhearing.org by 1 June 2024, and we will encourage them to apply directly.To apply for the JFA, upload a PDF containing the following:

• 1-page cover letter describing your research program and its relevance to APAN
• Title and 250-word max abstract for your proposed 25-minute talk
• CV
• Contact information for at least one reference

Note: Application to the JFA does not preclude submission of a regular abstract detailing the more specific nature of the research results. However, if the PI is chosen for the JFA, such regular abstracts would not also be chosen for oral presentation or highlighted teaser. * Time taken off work for parental or personal leave during this period will be subtracted from the 7-year maximum.
