174 Dr. Kamoun's research interest is to define the extent and nature of HLA haplotype genetic diversity and to understand the biological relevance of amino acid polymorphism in HLA class I and class II molecules. Computational and biostatical methods are used to evaluate the significance of HLA amino acid polymorphism in clinical transplantation and autoimmunity.
