Individual Variation in Human Gene Expression

luncheon

Vivian Cheung, M.D Professor of Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neurology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

The interest of Dr. Cheung's lab is human genetics and genomics. Their goals are to identify the genetic basis of human phenotypes and traits and to develop methods that facilitate such discoveries. They are interested in questions related to basic genetic mechanisms and those that are related directly to human health and diseases.

Ongoing Projects Include: Genetics of human gene expression, Genetics of radiosensitivity, Human meiotic recombination, Genotype inference method, and Phenotypes in carriers of autosomal recessive disease.
