Assisted Reproductive Technologies: Scientific, Clinical and Ethical Issues

luncheon
Christos Coutifaris, Nancy and Richard Wolfson Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Chief, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Penn.

Dr. Coutifaris' research centers around elucidating the mechanisms regulating cytotrophoblasts. The long term goal of these studies is to understand, at the molecular level, aspects of normal and pathologic trophoblast implantation. The clinical application of this knowledge to humans is significant for the treatment of infertility. Dr. Coutifaris will discuss scientific, clinical and ethical issues of in vitro fertilization.

The luncheon is at 11:45 A.M. on Monday, March 30, in the Lenape Room of the University Club.
