Irving Shapiro, Ph.D., B.D.S., L.D.S.R.C.S., Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Thomas Jefferson University's Jefferson Medical College in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery

Dr. Shapiro's research focuses on the Mechanism of Bone Growth and Repair, Tissue Engineering of the Intervertebral Disc, and Creating Bioactive Surfaces for the Repair of Fractured and Infected Bone.
