John Trojanowski

John Trojanowski , Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in the School of Medicine, will be the guest speaker.

Dr. Trojanowski holds the William Maul Measey - Truman G. Schnabel, Jr. Chair in Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology. He is Co-Director of the Center for Neurodegenerative Disease Research, Director of the Institute on Aging, and Director of the Alzheimer's Disease Core Center. His research is centered on molecular mechanisms of neuron dysfunction and degeneration and death in normal aging and in neurodegenerative diseases, especially Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.

The luncheon is at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, in the Hourglass Room of the University Club.
