Peter Cappelli will explain "Why Good People Can't Get Jobs."

Professor Peter Cappelli is the George W. Taylor Professor of Management at The Wharton School and Director of Wharton's Center for Human Resources. Probably the leading employment relationship scholar in the country, he is the former Chair of Wharton's Management Department, and Chair of the University of Pennsylvania's Labor Relations Unit. His lecture will consider issues raised in his New York Times business bestselling book, "Why Good People Can't Get Jobs." Professor Cappelli's lecture is sponsored by the Penn Association of Senior and Emeritus Faculty.

The talk will begin at 3:30 p.m. on the Second Floor of Houston Hall in the Class of '49 Auditorium. The reception and dinner of the 25 Year Club will follow the talk. The 25 Year Club was established in 1957 by University President Gaylord Harnwell to honor faculty and staff who served Penn for 25 years.
