Senior Project Manager

Suzanne DiFilippo, RN, CCRC is a Senior Project Manager in the Section. Her research activities include primary responsibilities and consultation to industry as well as investigator-initiated research, focusing on clinical psychiatric and behavioral health issues across the adult lifespan and across health care settings. In the clinical setting, her expertise includes patient assessment, monitoring treatment response, and education across stakeholders. She is an active research and clinical collaborator on both a local and national level, with particular expertise in the psychiatric assessment of older adults in community and institutionalized settings. Select specific areas of recent clinical and research activities include use of antidepressants in long term care, depression in Alzheimer’s disease, inclusion of “the resident’s voice” in the assessment of depression in the proposed 3.0 revision of the Minimum Data Set, and development of depression and anxiety Disease Management clinical protocols for implementation in integrated primary care settings.
