2024 Colloquium
On April 22, the second annual Master's Student Colloquium was held at the Smilow Center for Translational Research. The colloquium serves to recognize the achievements of Master’s students in the Perelman School of Medicine.
In Rubenstein Auditorium, Dr. Emma Meagher, Associate Dean for Master's & Certificates programs, delivered opening remarks and announced awardees for poster presentations and the inaugural PSOM Master’s & Certificate Program (MaC) Excellence in Teaching Awards. Dr. Meagher introduced Dr. Carl June, one of the pioneers of CAR T-cell immunotherapy, as the keynote. The two discussed Dr. June's career journey and his insights from his historic work in the form of a fireside chat.
To conclude the event, Master's students then gathered in Smilow Commons for a poster presentation session.
