Multiple postdoc research fellow positions are available at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. The research fellows will develop advanced machine learning (deep learning) methods for MRI/CT/PET/Ultrasound imaging data analysis and apply them to studies of brain development, aging, Alzheimer’s disease, and neuropsychiatric disorders, as well as to urology and cancer research. The research will be conducted at the Center for Biomedical Image Computing and Analytics (CBICA), a dynamically growing medical image computing center, involving several laboratories and many collaborators from diverse fields. The research fellows will participate in collaborative research projects with multidisciplinary research teams of Penn Medicine and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or a related field and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research. The successful applicant will have first-hand experience in machine learning and biomedical image analysis.
Ph.D. student positions are available for outstanding and highly motivated candidates to join our research team.
