American Federation for Aging Research (AFAR) - Medical Student Training in Aging Research Program (MSTAR)
The AFAR program provides medical students with an enriching experience in aging-related research and geriatrics, with the mentorship of top experts in the field. This program introduces students to research and academic experiences early in their training that they might not otherwise have during medical school. Research will be conducted at one of seven National Training Centers (NTC) supported by the National Institute on Aging. Please be in touch directly with the National Training Centers for their program deadline and application materials. Penn is not one of the centers.
