Once you feel comfortable with these technologies, feel free to choose another from the menu.
Many of the auditoriums and other rooms around campus and in SCTR are equipped with a SMART Board from SMART Technologies. These are podium monitors that allow the presenter to draw directly onto his/her slide presentation, eliminating the need for a laser pointer and allowing for annotations and corrections to be made in real time Click here for a Mediasite presentation that demonstrates how to use the Sympodium as well as the audience response system detailed below. |

Turning Point from Turning Technologgies allows presenters to build presentations with interactive slides where the presenter can poll the audience and immediately show the results on a slide as a bar, pie, or other type of chart, complete with stats. Turning Point 'clickers'. like the one pictured here, can be rented from the MTP office. NOTE: Not every PowerPoint presentation can generate results like this. The presentation must be designed ahead of time to take advantage of Turning Point.
