Erin Marble

In the lab, Erin did basic upkeep and was working on a project to examine gene dynamics involved in cell fate specification in the C elegans embryo. Outside of the lab, she enjoys playing ice hockey, getting outside, and traveling.

William Jack Marchese

Jack performed scientific research as well as all the basic lab maintenance in the Murray lab.  Jack poured the lab petris and is proficient in worm genetics, lineage editing and PCR.

At Penn, Jack studied biology and chemistry. When not in the lab, Jack enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants in the city, and going to Phillies games.

Dylan Cook

Dylan researched the morphological effects of the ref-2 mutation on worm development. He also prepared the media, reagents, and other supplies for the lab to use. At Penn, he studied both biology and English.

Nakial Cross

Nakial did programming research for the lab using single cell RNA-sequencing data.

Cameron Watkins

Cameron studied transcriptional rates in embryonic development using RNA-Seq and FISH with Priya. At Penn, she studied biology and Spanish. When not hard at work in the lab, Cameron enjoys playing volleyball, watching TV, and exploring new restaurants with friends.

Ella Eseigbe

Ella performed scientific research as well as all the basic lab maintenance in the Murray lab. Ella processed the glass petris and is proficient in worm genetics and lineage editing.

At Penn, Ella studied neuroscience and outside of the lab she enjoys cooking with friends, listening to music, and going to the beach back home in California.

Alexis Garcia

Alexis performed scientific research as well as all the basic lab maintenance in the Murray lab. Alexis made the petris and media and is proficient in worm genetics and lineage editing.

At Penn, Alexis studied biochemistry and anthropology. In her free time she volunteers at the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, enjoys going on long walks or hikes, listening to music, and hopes to visit all MLB stadiums.
