REDCap Access and Training

Reminder: Please complete the following training before July 5th 2022 - - "REDCap: Best Practices for Maintaining HIPAA Compliance and Protecting Personal Health Information (PHI)" This training is now required for new users at the time of account creation, and for existing users before close of business July 5th 2022. The training takes only 5-10 minutes to complete and covers practical ways to make sure any PHI entered into the tool is secure, access is limited, and inappropriate exporting is prevented. New REDCap Accounts
To obtain a REDCap account, you must complete the below online training course, which can be found in Knowledge Link. This training must be completed prior to submitting the account creation request via the submission form.

Once your account is created, OCR STRONGLY recommends you watch all REDCap Training videos before building your first project.

OCR hosts several REDCap training courses which can be found on Knowledge Link. After logging in (using your PennKey and password), search “REDCap” in the “Find Learning” dashboard. Additional trainings (both instructor-led and eLearning) will be added soon.

Existing REDCap Accounts
If you have an existing REDCap account, you can log in here using your PMACS account username and password (what you use to log into your Penn Medicine workstation).

If you are unable to log into your account, please contact PSOM REDCap Support via this submission form. Provide as much information as possible when completing the form.
