Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry, Chief of Interventional Psychiatry

Dr. Cristancho’s clinical focus is in the area of mood disorders particularly treatment resistant depression and Obsessive Compulsive disorder. He specializes in the use of psychopharmacology and neuromodulation interventions including Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Esketamine, Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS), and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS).  His clinical and research activities include the assessment and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, optimization of existing treatments, and development of new therapeutic options.  He has co-authored over 30 manuscripts and projects including peer reviewed papers and book chapters in mood disorders and neuromodulation.

Dr. Cristancho is the Chief of Interventional Psychiatry at PENN and has developed and maintained multidisciplinary clinical, research, and innovation collaborations within and outside PENN.

He is also involved in the supervision, teaching, and mentoring of medical students, psychiatry residents, and fellows in mood disorders.

Director of Operations - Interventional Psychiatry

Tifffany Hogan is the Director of Integrated Services, Access and Operations at Penn Psychiatry in Philadelphia.  Prior to joining Penn Psychiatry, Tiffany was a senior improvement advisor at Penn Medicine.  Prior to joining Penn Medicine, Tiffany served Jefferson health as an adjunct Professor and a speech-language pathologist.

Tiffany earned a Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Temple University and a Bachelors degree in English Language and Literature at Villanova University.  Tiffany is certified by Rutgers University as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Tiffany also earned a Certificate in Quality and Safety from IHI.

Tiffany is a passionate advocate for innovation and embraces process reengineering and new technologies to connect patients and clients to the care they need.

Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family.
