Web Hosting and Design
PMACS hosts a free, shared web hosting platform for web content on behalf of departments, cores, labs, faculty and staff. The web hosting environment supports applications developed in WordPress, Drupal, Apostrophe, and custom PHP.

There are restrictions on the ability to use plugins and templates.

This service is intended for restricted and public data. Sensitive data should not be used with this service.

A service that facilitates the rapid deployment of websites that do not require heavily customized designs or features. The service comes with a wide array of prebuilt templates and features to choose from and runs on our supported CMS, MODX.
Used by/Available to
All PSOM groups, departments, etc.
Capacity Assumptions/Restrictions
MODX publishers or site reviewers must be connected to the PMACS VPN via Pulse Secure in order to view/edit the content of their website during the development phase. MODX publishers must also have active PennKeys.
Continuity and Security
Most sites are public; sites or portions of sites can, however, be restricted via PennKey or username/password.

How to Access
