We're virologists and cancer biologists who study how human papillomaviruses interact with and alter the host cellular environment. Our goal is to understand how viruses cause cancer and impact immune responses.

Summer 2022
A thesis defense, summer conferences, and new grants!
It's been an exciting summer. Joshua graduated with his PhD, lab members traveled to the UK to present our research, and we have two new grants. Will received an NIH F32 and the lab is now funded by a collaborative R56. Check out the Lab News page for details and the Photos page for pictures!
Winter Updates
March 2022
It's been a good winter for the White Lab. Joshua and Paola's paper was published in eLife. Jaydeen rotated in the lab, mentored by Joangela. Elizabeth traveled to Shreveport, LA for an in-person seminar visit. Check out the lab news and publications pages to see details.
