Clinical Research Week 2024

The Office of Clinical Research in partnership with the PSOM Society of Clinical Research Professionals will be hosting a weeklong celebration of our Clinical Research Professionals (CRPs) and will observe the International Clinical Trials Awareness Day during the week of May 20, 2024. Clinical Research Week is designed to demonstrate our unwavering support of our >1,200 Clinical Research Professionals and to celebrate their contributions. 

Order “Ask Me About Research” buttons or brochures for your Penn research group/ department. Join us at Research Recruitment tables will be set up on May 21st (Pavilion building lobby at 1:30PM) and May 22nd (SMILOW, 9am). Speak with patients, families, caregivers about your research study and hand out flyers. Email Office of Clinical Research at psom-ocr@pobox.upenn.edu to order, and to reserve a time-slot at the table.

TUESDAY, MAY 21

Seminar "Community Engagement Matters" (in person event)

As part of Clinical Research Week; Penn Medicine and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) are collaborating to host an in-person seminar titled “Community Engagement Matters” on May 21st 2024. We invite all Clinical Research Professionals to attend and support our research teams, patients and their families.

This seminar aims to highlight community-based clinical research studies and projects at Penn and CHOP, and related resources. Speakers are Penn and CHOP clinical research investigators and their teams. The event will also include a moderated panel discussion with Penn and CHOP research teams, patient/ family partners and community advocates. 

Location: SMILOW SCTR at 1:30- 3:45 PM EST.

The Society for Penn Clinical Research Professionals (SPCRP, formerly The Society for Clinical Research Coordination and Management) is excited to combine with Clinical Research Week 2024 and host the CREATE Awards for Clinical Research Expertise & Advancement Through Excellence.
